ECWA!!
 (Sunday, December 26 2004, 11:38 pm)

It was the second of the two today, but it didn’t feel as bad as the first one. Maybe since the first Extreme Cold Weather Alert (ECWA) was on my first day back from California, it felt ten times as bad? Or maybe it’s just based on other things, like the likelihood that the homeless can survive or something.

All I know is that I’m extremely busy now, so much on my hands, so much to do, so much going on and at the same time I have to get ready for my final and hardest term at the University of Waterloo. With a little push, and God’s will, we’ll get through this term and move on.

So why am I so busy? Well first off, I’m not just busy, I’m happy too at the same time. Happy that it is finally my namzadi either on the last night of 2004 or the first night of 2005, and it was all decided last night. So much to do in so little time. Sorry to those who think they are left out; to be honest it’s a family get together, rather than a party.

Anyways, I have to go get started on my distributed browser that I will never finish.

Oh and to those who don’t read my site, don’t say I didn’t tell you. It’s your fault for not reading!! ;) though I don’t know how you’d get this message either.

Don't feel like it.
 (Monday, December 13 2004, 5:39 pm)

Damn, unfortunatly I dont feel like adding new enteries for one reason. I wrote this long entry about internet censorship in Iran and China, and one method to overcome it, but it got destroyed as i accidentally clicked the clear box instead of submit. Oh well I guess you'll have to wait for an interesting topic. Chax

Fourteen Gone, Two to Go!
 (Sunday, December 05 2004, 4:20 am)

Another two weeks before I come back to my beloved country Canada! Its been a very long fourteen weeks, but its almost over. Then another 16 weeks and I am officially done with Computer Science and Digital Hardware! yeaay!

Who knew that this day would ever come! Its weird how past time works! If you look at it over all it seems so little. Remembering the first day at university, and remembering even before coming to university and how excited I was. Also thinking that I have FIVE years ahead of me, and its like a life time, and it will never end. It seems like yesterday. But then you start looking at those 5 years, in your head, in more detail, and it was a life time. So much happened, we started at kids, and are now somewhat adults. I think so differently than I did 5 years ago, and I act so differently than I did five years ago. I've learned so much, mostly about life though, how to deal with people, how to analyze people, who your friends are, and much much more. In terms of courses, you learn more about how to learn, rather than course material itself. But this is the greatest thing to learn and the biggest thing that will help you as you struggle throughout your life in your different jobs and situations.

Its been so short and yet been sooo long. Looking at every detail, the people, the different stages, different groups of friends, different hobbies and different jobs. The get togethers, the parties, the ghelyoon nights at our houses, the movies, williams, shandiz, computer labs, DC library, DP and most important place, SLC, and all the nights we slept there. The hundreds of all-nighters, many of which were consecutive, that we pulled in that place, as we observed each others change in behaviour throughout different stages of the night.

Thanks to all, the friends, the enemies, and the neutrals; The persians, arabs, egyptians, indians, chinese, romanian, polish and even nepalese, who made these 5 years memorable!

With all that said, I still have 4 more months, of even more all-nighters, pain and learning.
